Perceptions of Reality (or: How to understand a Universe)

As the Human Mind is bound
-
Within it's senses
-
Limited
-
Imagination it is found
-
Doth suffer
In parenthesis
-
(Imagination)
-
Thus
Restrained
-
Incapable
-
(So tightly chained)
-
May not imagine boundless plains
-
Nor endless continuity

Perception
-
It would seem has trained
-
Tamed
Perhaps
or
Even maimed
-
Our modern
-
Focused
-
Fettered
-
Brains
-
So needful
of
Emergence
-
Into an age
-
Imagine it
-
Unlimited
-
In which we fit
-
Unlimited
-
Changed
-
In a look
-
If we could just
-
Put down that book
Of
Rules
-
We have become

As shapes may come
and
Shapes may go
-
Perception
From our senses flows
-
Yet all we see
Can be undone
-
Done up
Rethought
-
To
Find
The sum
-
Beyond the brink
-
That is not there
-
We need to think
Ourselves
-
To where
-
We understand
-
Perceptions
of
Reality
